Paepalanthus engleri merupakan tumbuhan dwimusim atau menahun dari famili Eriocaulaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Alabama, Florida. Nama ilmiah Paepalanthus engleri pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Wilhelm Otto Eugen Ruhland pada tahun 2018.
