Paepalanthus macropodus merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Eriocaulaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil (Minas Gerais tengah). Nama ilmiah Paepalanthus macropodus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Wilhelm Otto Eugen Ruhland pada tahun 1903.
