Paepalanthus phelpsiae adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Eriocaulaceae yang tumbuh dalam bentuk perdu kecil atau semak. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Venezuela selatan (Cerro Jaua). Nama ilmiah Paepalanthus phelpsiae pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Harold Norman Moldenke pada tahun 1972.
