Paepalanthus piresii adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Eriocaulaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Brazil (Pará). Nama ilmiah Paepalanthus piresii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Harold Norman Moldenke pada tahun 1960.
