Paepalanthus tortilis var. minor merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu kecil dari famili Eriocaulaceae yang memiliki siklus hidup semusim (annual). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Brazil (Espírito Santo). Nama ilmiah Paepalanthus tortilis var. minor diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Harold Norman Moldenke pada tahun 1976.
