Palaquium sericeum var. obtusocalyx merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Sapotaceae (suku sawo-sawoan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kalimantan. Nama ilmiah Palaquium sericeum var. obtusocalyx diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Herman Johannes Lam pada tahun 1925.
