Palicourea heterochroma merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Rubiaceae (suku kopi-kopian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kolombia barat hingga Peru, Bolivia tengah. Nama ilmiah Palicourea heterochroma diperkenalkan oleh Karl Moritz Schumann pada tahun 1908.
