Pandanus pungens adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Pandanaceae (suku pandan-pandanan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Sumatra. Nama ilmiah Pandanus pungens diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Ryōzō Kanehira pada tahun 1940.
