Panicum aztecanum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Meksiko barat dan tengah. Nama ilmiah Panicum aztecanum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Fernando Omar Zuloaga pada tahun 1996.
