Panicum gymnocarpon adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Amerika Serikat bagian tengah dan tenggara. Nama ilmiah Panicum gymnocarpon pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Stephen Elliott pada tahun 1816.
