Papaver involucratum merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Papaveraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim dingin (subalpin atau subarktik) di wilayah Asia tengah. Nama ilmiah Papaver involucratum diperkenalkan oleh Mikhail Grigoríevič Popov pada tahun 1937.
