Papaver postii merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Papaveraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Türkiye, Suriah, hingga Siprus. Nama ilmiah Papaver postii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Friedrich Karl Georg Fedde pada tahun 1905.
