Papaver postii merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Papaveraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Türkiye hingga Suriah, Siprus. Nama ilmiah Papaver postii diperkenalkan oleh Friedrich Karl Georg Fedde pada tahun 1905.
