Papaver tenellum merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Papaveraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Siberia barat daya hingga Kazakhstan. Nama ilmiah Papaver tenellum diperkenalkan oleh Alexandr Innokentevich Tolmatchew pada tahun 1930.
