Pappophorum bicolor adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Texas hingga Meksiko tengah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan pink pappusgrass. Nama ilmiah Pappophorum bicolor pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Eugène Pierre Nicolas Fournier pada tahun 1886.
