Parentucellia viscosa merupakan tumbuhan hemiparasit berumur semusim dari famili Orobanchaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Macaronesia, Eropa barat, Mediterania, hingga Iran utara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan yellow glandweed. Nama ilmiah Parentucellia viscosa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Théodore Caruel pada tahun 1885.
