AFRICAN LOCUST BEAN Parkiafilicoidea Welw. ex Oliv.
Parkia filicoidea merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan tropis Afrika. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan african locust bean. Nama ilmiah Parkia filicoidea diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Friedrich Welwitsch pada tahun 1871.
