Parkia pectinata merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Venezuela (Amazonas). Nama ilmiah Parkia pectinata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Alexander von Humboldt pada tahun 1872.
