Parrotia persica merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Hamamelidaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Azerbaijan tenggara hingga Iran utara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan persian ironwood. Nama ilmiah Parrotia persica pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Anton von Meyer pada tahun 1831.
