Parthenium confertum var. microcephalum merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Amerika Serikat bagian selatan-tengah hingga Meksiko timur laut. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan gray's feverfew. Nama ilmiah Parthenium confertum var. microcephalum diperkenalkan oleh Reed Clark Rollins pada tahun 1950.
