Paspalum bertonii merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Brazil selatan hingga Argentina timur laut. Nama ilmiah Paspalum bertonii diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Eduard Hackel pada tahun 1911.
