Paspalum hintonii adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Meksiko tengah dan barat daya. Nama ilmiah Paspalum hintonii diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Mary Agnes Chase pada tahun 1937.
