Paspalum minus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di kawasan tropis dan subtropis Amerika . Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan matted paspalum. Nama ilmiah Paspalum minus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Eugène Pierre Nicolas Fournier pada tahun 1886.
