Paspalum thrasyoides adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Bolivia hingga Brazil dan Paraguay. Nama ilmiah Paspalum thrasyoides pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Bernhard von Trinius pada tahun 2005.
