Granadila merah adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Passifloraceae yang memiliki pola tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan yang dikenal dengan nama ilmiah Passiflora coccinea ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan tropis Amerika selatan. Nama ilmiah Passiflora coccinea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Jean Baptiste Christophore Fusée Aublet pada tahun 1775.
