Passiflora foetida merupakan tumbuhan semusim atau dwimusim dari famili Passifloraceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah kawasan tropis dan subtropis Amerika . Di Indonesia tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan nama rambusa, permot, nyomlang, gambutan, ceplukan blungsung, atau bilaran. Nama ilmiah Passiflora foetida diperkenalkan oleh Carolus Linnaeus pada tahun 1753.
