Pectocarya platycarpa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Boraginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah Meksiko (Baja California Norte, Sonora). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan broadfruit combseed. Nama ilmiah Pectocarya platycarpa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Philip Alexander Munz pada tahun 1928.
