Peddiea africana adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Thymelaeaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Afrika Selatan dan kawasan tropis Afrika bagian selatan. Nama ilmiah Peddiea africana pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis William Henry Harvey pada tahun 1840.
