Pegolettia retrofracta adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Afrika Selatan. Nama ilmiah Pegolettia retrofracta diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carl Peter Thunberg pada tahun 1951.
