Peltaea trinervis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Malvaceae (suku kapas-kapasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko (Oaxaca) hingga kawasan tropis Amerika. Nama ilmiah Peltaea trinervis diperkenalkan oleh Carl Borivoj Presl pada tahun 1965.
