Pelucha trifida merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Meksiko barat laut. Nama ilmiah Pelucha trifida diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Sereno Watson pada tahun 1889.
