Penaea gigantea adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Penaeaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape barat daya. Nama ilmiah Penaea gigantea diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Rolf Martin Theodor Dahlgren pada tahun 2018.
