Penaea petraea adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Penaeaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh menempel pada bebatuan (litofit). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape barat daya. Nama ilmiah Penaea petraea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Winsome Fanny ('Buddy') Barker pada tahun 2018.
