Penstemon barbatus var. torreyi adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Plantaginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Utah hingga Texas dan Meksiko (Chihuahua). Nama ilmiah Penstemon barbatus var. torreyi pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis George Bentham pada tahun 1862.
