MAT PENSTEMON Penstemoncaespitosus var. perbrevis (Pennell) N.H.Holmgren
Penstemon caespitosus var. perbrevis merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Plantaginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Utah hingga Colorado. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan mat penstemon. Nama ilmiah Penstemon caespitosus var. perbrevis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Francis Whittier Pennell pada tahun 1979.
