CALIFORNIA PENSTEMON Penstemoncalifornicus (Munz & I.M.Johnst.) D.D.Keck
Penstemon californicus merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Plantaginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari California selatan hingga Meksiko (Baja California Norte). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan california penstemon. Nama ilmiah Penstemon californicus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Philip Alexander Munz pada tahun 1937.
