Penstemon dasyphyllus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Plantaginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Arizona hingga Texas dan Meksiko utara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan cochise beardtongue. Nama ilmiah Penstemon dasyphyllus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Asa Gray pada tahun 1859.
