Penstemon pachyphyllus var. congestus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Plantaginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Nevada hingga Arizona. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan thickleaf beardtongue. Nama ilmiah Penstemon pachyphyllus var. congestus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Marcus Eugene Jones pada tahun 1979.
