Penstemon pallidus merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Plantaginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Amerika Serikat bagian utara-tengah dan timur. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan pale beardtongue. Nama ilmiah Penstemon pallidus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis John Kunkel Small pada tahun 1903.
