Penstemon palmeri var. macranthus merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Plantaginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Nevada. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan scented beardtongue. Nama ilmiah Penstemon palmeri var. macranthus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Alice Eastwood pada tahun 1979.
