Penstemon platyphyllus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Plantaginaceae yang tumbuh dalam bentuk perdu kecil atau semak. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Utah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan broadleaf beardtongue. Nama ilmiah Penstemon platyphyllus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Per Axel Rydberg pada tahun 1909.
