Penstemon scapoides adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Plantaginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah California (Inyo County). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan pinyon beardtongue. Nama ilmiah Penstemon scapoides pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis David D. Keck pada tahun 1932.
