Penstemon superbus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Plantaginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Arizona hingga New Mexico dan Meksiko (Sonora, Chihuahua). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan superb beardtongue. Nama ilmiah Penstemon superbus diperkenalkan oleh Aven Nelson pada tahun 1904.
