Peperomia blanda merupakan tumbuhan epifit dari famili Piperaceae (suku sirih-sirihan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Venezuela utara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan arid-land peperomia. Nama ilmiah Peperomia blanda diperkenalkan oleh Nikolaus Joseph von Jacquin pada tahun 1816.
