Peperomia tominana merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Piperaceae (suku sirih-sirihan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh menempel di pohon lain (epifit) atau di bebatuan (litofit). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Bolivia selatan hingga Argentina barat laut. Nama ilmiah Peperomia tominana diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Anne Casimir Pyrame de Candolle pada tahun 1898.
