Pera aperta merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Peraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Panama. Nama ilmiah Pera aperta pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Léon Camille Marius Croizat pada tahun 1942.
