Pera coccinea merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Peraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Bolivia timur hingga Brazil (Mato Grosso hingga Pará). Nama ilmiah Pera coccinea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis George Bentham pada tahun 1866.
