Perezia magellanica merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Chili selatan hingga Argentina (Santa Cruz). Nama ilmiah Perezia magellanica diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Mariano Lagasca y Segura pada tahun 1811.
