Periandra coccinea adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan) yang memiliki pola tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Bolivia timur hingga Brazil. Nama ilmiah Periandra coccinea diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Heinrich Adolph Schrader pada tahun 1837.
