Perotis ornithocephala adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah India, Sri Lanka. Nama ilmiah Perotis ornithocephala pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis William Jackson Hooker pada tahun 2014.
