Petalonyx crenatus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Loasaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah Meksiko timur laut. Nama ilmiah Petalonyx crenatus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Asa Gray pada tahun 1882.
